Did You Know?

All NSW properties; leased or owned are required to have at least one working smoke detector on each level of your property where sleeping occurs. Properties that do not comply are at risk of penalties.

From 23 March 2020, all NSW Landlords will need to ensure that smoke alarms installed in the rented property are in working order and compliant with current legislation. The detectors need to be checked at least once per year to confirm they are working correctly, in the correct location,  batteries are in good working order/replaced as per detectors specification and alarms are replaced before they expire. Failure to comply with any of the above can result in fines for the landlord.

Let us do the hard work for you. Under our all inclusive service package, we will maintain or change your smoke alarms 24/7 365 days per year.
